Over the past 14 months, Susan has led a variety of initiatives at The Trade Desk designed to help the modern marketer better understand programmatic technology and how it can help inform a customer-centric marketing strategy and deliver growth for brands around the world.
Susan’s work has fueled The Trade Desk’s continued success, with revenue in Q3 2018 growing 50 percent year-over-year.
Susan started in advertising at Leo Burnett, where she developed a passion for customer-centric marketing. Determined to learn more about the customer-engagement opportunities offered by the internet, she moved from Banana Republic in the late 1990s to join startup Gloss.com. Susan held senior roles at the forefront of digital marketing transformation, including at Walmart.com, Gap, Inc., Yahoo!, Bloomberg Media, and as CMO of Tory Burch, before joining The Trade Desk as their CMO, responsible for building the company’s brand and furthering its global growth. Now, she is focused on marketing a tech brand in a new way – connecting on a personal level with users of our platform, the larger marketing community, and also with the consumers who enjoy more relevant advertising as a result of it.
