Emily Wasserman is a leading member of the Digital Innovation team at COTY Inc. overseeing a portfolio of over 72 international brands including Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Tiffany, Gucci, Covergirl, Bourjois, and Wella. Through her work, she focuses on smart implementation of emerging technologies, strategic partnerships with major platforms, as well as innovative business models.
Prior to joining COTY, Emily worked at Grey Group, where she ran the digital businesses of Procter and Gamble beauty brands, overseeing new technology platforms and launching award winning products, including Myshade, a first of its kind augmented reality hair application. To date, her background has focused heavily on digital product development and emerging technology, with a focus on consumer facing marketing and communication.
Emily graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied communications and consumer psychology. Emily is consumer obsessed and willing to try any new beauty product on the market. In her spare time, she teaches at Parsons School of Design on retail technology and how digital innovation is disrupting the industry. Additional pastimes include pilates, traveling, and finding the best banana bread in NYC
